AOCThe Australian Association of Social Marketing (AASM) is pleased to support the Agents of Change Summit in its inaugural event. Researchers and practitioners using communication, marketing and technology to shift behaviours are invited to learn and discuss the latest innovations in behaviour change at the Agents of Change Summit. Held on 8-9th February 2016, in San Diego, CA, this Summit aims to break down the silos between professionals from the various behaviour change pathways, explore the most effective science and technological approaches to creating change, and equip every professional with the tools, resources and network necessary to positively change behaviour.

Carefully curated content for leaders in:

  • Health education
  • Policy change
  • Behavioural economics
  • Social Enterprise
  • Culture Change
  • Social Marketing

The summit has released a call for papers for both academics and practitioners to showcase the latest research and best practice from around the world in behaviour change approaches.

At the Agents of Change Summit, breakout sessions will feature short academic and case study presentations that discuss the implementation of behaviour change and/or social marketing programs to change health behaviours. Abstracts will include one or more of the seven identified behaviour change approaches that the summit will focus on: health education, policy change, social marketing, culture/norm change, behavioural economics, community engagement and social enterprise.

Submissions will be blind peer-reviewed and published in the conference proceedings. Maximum word count is 500 words. A template is available for drafting and submission will be via an online system.
