Open –Scaling up prevention of childhood obesity in Europe

Open is a multi-component programme aimed to prevent childhood obesity in Europe through community based programmes. The first OPEN symposium included 7 workshops which allowed the participants to exchange case studies, experience and ideas on themes such as political commitment, public relations and community based programmes, public-private partnerships, communication, evaluation, behavior change in the community and targeting adolescents.
